Join the CSCMP Houston Roundtable discussion with The Shippers Group (a 3PL warehousing company) as they walk through their practical adoption of Lean Principles and Tools within the company.

The Shippers Group (TSG) Operational Excellence team together with Independent Lean Supply Chain Consultant, Susie Bodnar, will be presenting how a Lean culture has been created in a warehousing environment. They will showcase how Lean is just not for manufacturing and how it continues to impact TSG’s bottom-line resulting in ~$10K savings/day!

Rob Doyle became President of The Shippers Group in late 2016.  Prior to joining Shippers, Rob was President of Doyle Distribution as wells as VP of Marketing and Business Development for Commercial Warehousing Inc. He also served as President of Amware Logistics Services for 12 years during a period of exponential growth, working his way up from Warehouse Operations Manager to President.  Rob has also served on the IWLA Board of Director’s from 2007 until 2016 and was the Chairman of the Board in 2015/2016. In addition, he has served on the board for the CSCMP roundtables in Atlanta, Central Florida and DFW.

Susie Bodnar is currently Principal of Neowise, Inc. providing supply chain consulting and executive training services to clients such as large 3PLs, Fortune 100 Pharma companies, Department of Homeland Security and Universities. Susie was Director of Operations and Client Strategy at FourKites, Inc. responsible for operationalizing and leading a team empowered to design, execute and scale Lane Connect/Network Visibility, a new business line within FourKites, working directly with carriers, shippers, and 3PLs to drive change. Previously, she was with MCA Connect (Microsoft partner), Corporate Manager for the Retail Support Group of Ace Hardware Corporation and began her supply chain career at LeanCor (a Transplace Company).
