Warehousing, field logistics and transportation is dangerous work.  Warehouse work is identified as one of the most dangerous occupations in industry. Safety is, and should be, front and center.  But what more can be done? Are all the latest analytic tools being focused in this key area? Join us for our January luncheon at the Downtown Club (Houston Center) where we will be joined by Stephen Spoljaric to discuss why safety matters and what we can all do to be better safety champions.

Stephen “Spo” Spoljaric is an action oriented thought leader in Supply Chain management.  His recent appointment as Bechtel’s Corporate Manager of Global Logistics provides a detailed worldwide view of what can and is being done to make logistics safer and more efficient.  His prior role was as the area operations manager on a petro-chemicals giga-project in Pennsylvania, responsible for managing the union labor to support material distribution in support of construction. Mr. Spoljaric received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Fordham University and his  master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University.
