Trade and compliance have been on the front pages in the last two years, not just the last pages of the Business section. The additional complexity and uncertainty leave many in the Supply Chain area of their companies the need to step up their game to keep track of developments. Join us for our October luncheon at the Downtown Club (Houston Center) where we will be joined by Larry Hanson to see how various trade developments have an impact on Businesses and Consumers.
Lawrence Hanson has worked in the some of the nation’s most prominent law firms specializing in international trade and export for more than 25 years. Prior to launching his own law practice Mr. Hansen served in government as regional counsel for the U.S. Customs Service. In 2002 Hanson founded the center for Global Trade Education and Compliance which provides in-house training on import and export regulatory issues. He is on the faculty of the University of Houston Law Center, teaching law school students about import and export regulations and best practice.
